Mekong - U.S. Partnership
Over 150 participants attended the “Infrastructure Best Practices Exchange Workshop” in Hanoi, Vietnam from January 14-15, 2013. The event included senior leadership from eight U.S. agencies who participated as moderators on panels that included experts from the U.S. public and private sectors, including sponsors Caterpillar, GE, and Qualcomm, the Asian Development Bank's Private Sector Operations Department and Vietnam Resident Mission. Throughout the two day event, participants discussed best practices and approaches in forming effective public-private partnerships for infrastructure projects in airports, railways, energy, information communication and technology. The next best practices exchange on infrastructure is planned for early 2014.
