Thailand and Burmese public health personnel are collaborating in the border provinces to provide innovative malaria services to migrant and cross-border community, which contribute to more than 50% of malaria case burden in Thailand. The photo below shows the CAP-Malaria project, in coordination with the Ranong, Thailand Provincial Health Office, providing training on malaria diagnosis and bed net retreatment to Burmese migrant health volunteers in their native language.
