Participants in the Ranong-Kawthaung Joint Surveillance Rapid Response Team (SRRT) workshop worked together on mapping exercises of surveillance and rapid responses in the twin-city counterparts, as well as the mode for cross-border communication.  The joint workshop is aligned with the Trilateral Agreement (Ministry of Health (Myanmar), Thailand International Development Agency (TICA), and USAID) effort to promote collaboration on cross-border health, particularly on malaria control.  Workshop was also supported by Department of Disease Control, Disease Control Regional Office 11 and Ranong Provincial Health Office under the Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, and WHO Offices in Thailand and Myanmar, and CAP-Malaria.
