The #MekongUSPartnership (MUSP) did a lot last fall!  The Mekong One Health Innovation Program (MOHIP) hosted two webinars on health security issues and funded three research projects – one each in Lao PDR, Thailand, and Vietnam – on health concerns for humans from animal and environmental exposures.  WE Inspire held capacity-building trainings and workshops in Cambodia and Thailand to empower and educate women on business skills, financial literacy, gender disparities, and women’s rights.  The Business Skills and Technical Skills trainings in Thailand had 113 and 112 participants respectively, and 128 women participated in the Women’s Rights and Confidence Building Workshop.

Arizona State University and Michigan State University alumni learned about upcoming grant funding opportunities from USG experts to maximize potential continuity in program participation at the ASEAN Health Futures Alumni Symposium in Bangkok from October 23-27, 2023.
