Mekong - U.S. Partnership
OVERVIEW: The U.S.-Singapore Third Country Training Program (TCTP) will host a workshop on Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Emergency Response (CBRN), September 25-29, 2017, in Singapore. This five-day course will provide participating countries with strategic and operational best practices in national CBRN response plan development, inter-agency coordination, and coordinating international assistance. The course material will enhance CBRN policies and capabilities by creating a network of regional partnerships and initiatives to support the development and implementation of national CBRN policies. The course will cover the following topics: foundational principles of CBRN threats, national plans and planning systems analysis, medical and health response considerations, crisis communications including media resources, and law enforcement/public health response cooperation.
The Mekong-U.S. Partnership is a multinational partnership among Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Viet Nam, and the United States to create integrated cooperation among the five Lower Mekong countries. Learn more >
