Mekong - U.S. Partnership
The objectives of ECF-5 are:
– To review the proposal GMS Regional Investment Framework (RIF) pipeline of projects, particularly its impact on GMS economic corridor development, and to obtain in-principle endorsement of the RIF pipeline from GMS countries;
– To review further RIF outputs, such as spatial prioritization of corridor areas of development and multi-sector investments;
– To find ways to further implement transport and trade facilitation (TTF); and
– To present and discuss other initiatives related to corridor development.
The Mekong-U.S. Partnership is a multinational partnership among Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Viet Nam, and the United States to create integrated cooperation among the five Lower Mekong countries. Learn more >
