Mekong - U.S. Partnership
The forum was attended by high-level Ministry of Health Officials from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar, as well as other donor and civil society partners. Topics of discussion included cross border collaboration on disease surveillance, compliance with International Health Regulations, public private partnerships in health, and trilateral development cooperation. Numerous examples of successful cross border health initiatives were also presented.
The Mekong-U.S. Partnership is a multinational partnership among Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Viet Nam, and the United States to create integrated cooperation among the five Lower Mekong countries. Learn more >
