Mekong - U.S. Partnership
The Regional Environment Office has just released a Request for Information (RFI) to inform planning of a new activity, SERVIR Mekong. SERVIR is a global program supported by USAID and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The goal of SERVIR is to enhance climate adaptation and landscape management through the increased application of geospatial analysis. SERVIR helps build the capacity of regionally focused institutions to act as providers of geospatial information, tools, and training to government and other key decision-makers to enhance climate adaptation and landscape management. SERVIR "hubs" work with regional, national and local partners to deliver demand driven geospatial tools and services. REO is seeking input from stakeholders in the Lower Mekong on the RFI concept paper. Comments may be submitted though July 12th, and the RFI can be accessed here.
