Mekong - U.S. Partnership
The goal of Road Management Workshop is to build effective road management by enhancing pavement durability, road safety, and environmental sustainability. The workshop included U.S. Department of Transportation, National Highway Institute (NHI) modules authorized by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET) as a provider of continuing education units (CEUs) to provide Professional Development Hours (PDH). The workshop included additional sessions in Traffic Safety and Criminal Activities, Environmental and Climate considerations, Automated Information Systems, Bridge, Drainage and other emergency response considerations. A practical exercise and case study were also included.
The Mekong-U.S. Partnership is a multinational partnership among Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Viet Nam, and the United States to create integrated cooperation among the five Lower Mekong countries. Learn more >
