Twenty young political leaders from the Lower Mekong (Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam) will travel to the United States for a two-week Legislative Fellows program under the auspices of the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL)'s Traditional Public-Private Partnership (TPPP) grant.  During the program, the delegates, ages 25 to 40, will spend time in Washington, DC and then at least one week placed in a state-level political office, while meeting with a diverse array of national, regional and local government officials as well as policy, corporate and community leaders to debate ideas and issues and share experiences in government.  Each year, ACYPL conducts exchanges of young political leaders between the United States and 20-25 nations.
