The Lower Mekong Initiative Pacific Resilience Disaster Response Exercise and Exchange (PR DREE) is an annual disaster preparedness and response initiative between the governments of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Viet Nam and the United States. It focuses on regional readiness to all-hazard situations in the Lower Mekong area. The LMI PR DREE provides a framework for authorities to develop best practices, engage in collaborative dialogue, and implement exercise plans and procedures to enhance humanitarian assistance and disaster relief capabilities.

This year the LMI PR DREE will take place 15-18 June 2015 in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The PR DREE is designed to promote integration and cooperation between civil and military authorities during disaster response as well as to enhance the use of international mechanisms within the Lower Mekong region.
