Mekong - U.S. Partnership
Under the U.S.-Singapore Third Country Training Program (TCTP) and the Lower Mekong Initiative (LMI), the Department of State will lead an interagency delegation to Singapore to implement a workshop on the Climate-Health Nexus. The course is designed to focus on climate-health co-benefits: the idea that many of the interventions that countries may institute to mitigate global climate change also improve local environmental health conditions, such as reducing health impacts due to poor air quality.
The Mekong-U.S. Partnership is a multinational partnership among Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Viet Nam, and the United States to create integrated cooperation among the five Lower Mekong countries. Learn more >
