Mekong - U.S. Partnership
Inthy Deuansavanh is a superstar Lao sustainable eco-tourism and adventure travel pioneer. He started his ecotourism business 20 years ago with a staff of four, and now employs hundreds of Laotians across the country from all social tiers and ethnic backgrounds. Inthy studied in the United States to be a Green Entrepreneur and said about his experience, “being there gave me the confidence that what I have been doing was in the right direction.” His business collaborates with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), a key Mekong-U.S. Partnership environmental partner and his commitment to sustainable tourism and responsible business practices are commendable.
