USAID Regional Development Mission for Asia (USAID/RDMA ) awarded a grant to the Mekong Institute, an intergovernmental organization, to fund the Lower Mekong Initiative (LMI) Food Security Donor Mapping Project — which aims to enable effective donor coordination on food security projects in the Lower Mekong countries.  The Mekong Institute will implement this project for 18 months from October 2013 to April 2015, in close collaboration with the Lower Mekong Initiative Hub of USAID/RDMA.  This project aims to increase transparency, enhance divisions of labor in the donor community, inform future USAID and donor programming, and catalyze discussion to coordinate stakeholders under the LMI Plan of Action 2011-2015.
